METU INDOOR SWIMMING POOL RULES

Each and every individual using our pool is deemed to have accepted the rules written below.

General

1. Users must obey all the instructions and warnings of the lifeguards. Those who do not comply with the instructions and warnings will be asked to leave the facility, and their membership will be canceled if such behavior is repeated multiple times.

2. Individuals and groups can use the pool during the sessions reserved for them in the program.

3. Users must comply with the session hours.

4. Users are not allowed to swim during the session breaks. Users who have paid a double session fee can wait by the pool in between sessions.

5. The Swimming Pool Directory is not responsible for any loss or accident.

6. Taking photographs in and around the pool is not allowed.

7. Eating and drinking, as well as smoking any tobacco products, is prohibited in and around the pool.

Health

1. It is obligatory to have a shower before entering the pool.

2. Spitting or spouting water in the pool is prohibited.

3. It is obligatory to wear swim suits produice spesificle for pool use.

4. Individuals with an open wound, cut, or any kind of skin disease will not be allowed to use the pool.

5. Children who are not toilet-trained are not allowed to enter the pool.

Safety

1. Those who do not know how to swim must not use the pool.

2. Wearing t-shirts inside the pool and on the deck of the pool is not allowed, except for the staff.

3. Running, joking around, pushing others, and any behavior that disturbs other users is strictly prohibited. Those who do not comply with this rule will be asked to leave the facility without prior warning.

4. Running towards or jumping into the pool is prohibited.

Lanes

1. The schedule for the use of lanes is announced on our website.

2. Users who cannot swim 50 meters without a pause must use lanes 1 and 8.

3. Users swimming in lanes 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 may pause only at the turning walls

4. Users must swim counterclockwise in the lanes.

Equipment

1. Swim toys and small balls may be used upon the discretion of a supervisor.

2. Swimming tubes and water wings can be used in the pool; however, inflatable boats are not permitted.

3. Fins, snorkels, and swimming masks are not allowed due to the safety of users. Users are suggested not to use hand paddles during crowded swimming sessions.

METU OUTDOOR SWIMMING POOL RULES

Each and every individual using our pool is deemed to have accepted the rules written below.

General

1. Users must obey all the instructions and warnings of the lifeguards. Those who do not comply with the instructions and warnings will be asked to leave the facility, and their membership will be canceled if such behavior is repeated multiple times.

2. As there are no lockers in the locker room, users can bring their clothes and shoes and keep them in their bags around the pool.

3. Individuals and groups can use the pool during the sessions reserved for them in the program.

4. At the end of the session, users must leave the pool. Users who paid a double session fee can wait for the next session to start around the pool after submitting the card given to them for the second session to the lifeguard.

5. Users are not allowed to swim during the session breaks. Users who have paid a double session fee can wait by the pool in between sessions.

6. The Swimming Pool Directory is not responsible for any loss or accident.

7. Taking photographs in and around the pool is not allowed.

8. Smoking any tobacco products is prohibited in and around the pool.

9. Drinking alcoholic beverages is prohibited in and around the pool.

Health

1. It is obligatory to have a shower before entering the pool.

4. Individuals with an open wound, cut, or any kind of skin disease will not be allowed to use the pool.

5. Users cannot bring their pets to the pool area.

6. Wearing hats or caps in the pool is not allowed.

7. Children who are not toilet-trained are not allowed to enter the pool.

Safety

4. The lane allocated to regular swimmers is for users who are able to swim 25 meters without a pause.

5. Individuals who are part of a club, society, or team must comply with the instructions and warnings of the lifeguards.

6. Swimming tubes and water wings can be used in the pool; however, inflatable boats are not permitted.
